Chandler, Arizona -- For over 11 years, Impressions Dental has hosted the Halloween Candy Buy-Back. The entire community is invited to participate by bringing their Halloween candy to the Chandler dentist office of Impressions Dental at 5970 S. Cooper Road, Suite 1 in Chandler, AZ where it will be bought back from them.

Children will receive $1 for each pound of candy they bring in to sell. An additional 50 cents will be donated to a child’s school of choice for each pound of candy donated. All of the candy turned in at this year’s event will be donated to Operation Gratitude. The organization sends the candy to men and women in the military who are stationed overseas as a small gesture of gratitude for their sacrifice.

The popularity of the annual Halloween candy buyback should continue this year with a bounce house, obstacle course, raffles and lots of prizes being given away. Entertainment in previous years has included balloon artists and music. Parents and children are invited to bring their appetites because of the different types of food that will be available thanks to Kona Ice, Waffle Crush Truck and the other vendors scheduled to set up in the Impressions Dental parking lot.

As in previous years, the emphasis from these Chandler pediatric dentists will be on having fun while taking positive steps toward reducing sugar consumption by children. Organizers of the candy buyback are reminding parents that only unopened candy will be accepted for donation.

To learn more about the Halloween Candy Buyback event or the dental services offered, Impressions Dental suggests that interested participants visit the Chandler family dentist website at or call 480-439-0073.
